Now that Christmas has come and gone and the new year approaches you may be wondering what to do with your Christmas trees. Residents of the City of Washington may discard trees in the designated area in Central Park on the southeast corner. Also, you can put your dried out trees at the corner of your block for pick up. Trees should not be placed next to fire hydrants. Be sure to double check to make sure all ornaments are taken off before discarding your tree. Also, the waste water treatment plant will accept trees.
