In their first meeting of 2017, the Washington County Conservation Board will begin by electing officers for the coming year. They will also hold a discussion and make decisions regarding their master plan for projects for the year. Other items on the agenda include project updates on the Marr Park storage building, the Foster Woods upgrade plan, the Kewash Nature Trail’s Kiwi Avenue crossing, and the Clemons Creek shooting range enhancement project. Additionally, they’ll discuss the budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park.
