Winter months aren’t usually an ideal time to go camping, but the four-season cabins at Lake Darling are changing that. According to Lake Darling Park Ranger Zach Haworth, there has been a steady stream of visitors in spite of the cold, and he feels the cabins are a big reason. He says, “The new cabins have been very, very busy through the Christmas holiday as well as New Years. We still have a lot of openings towards the end of January, and then February and March. Those are still available on two night minimum basis of rental nights. Then starting Memorial Day weekend is when the week restriction will come into effect for those new cabins.” Haworth says the four-season cabins have each been reserved nearly every weekend since they opened in August.
