The Mid-Prairie and Sigourney-Keota wrestling teams were in quadrangular action Monday in Sigourney.

Joining them were the Montezuma Braves and the Pekin Panthers. The Golden Hawks went 2-1 on the night, scoring a 38-22 win over Montezuma and a 46-24 win over Pekin while falling to SK 57-21.

Against the Braves the Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Isaac Boucher at 170lbs by a 17-12 decision and Visouth Peterschmidt at 182lbs by tech fall.

Against Pekin the Golden Hawks got wins in contested matches from Duncan McCain at 132lbs by major decision, Brent Foster at 160lbs by fall, and Visouth Peterschmidt at 195lbs by fall.

In the dual with SK, Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches from Duncan McCain at 132lbs by 12-5 decision, Brent Foster at 152lbs by fall, Visouth Peterschmidt at 182lbs by fall.

Mid-Prairie wraps up their dual season with an 11-12 overall record. The Golden Hawks will next be in action Saturday at the River Valley Conference tournament at Northeast Goose Lake High School.

Sigourney-Keota was a perfect 3-0 on the night, beating Montezuma 69-9, Pekin 57-15 and Mid-Prairie 57-21.

Against the Braves the Cobras got wins in contested matches from Luke House at 120lbs by fall, Trent Hendricks at 145lbs by fall, Noah Reeves at 170lbs by fall, Kaleb Reeves at 195lbs by fall, and Noah Boender at 220lbs by fall.

Against Pekin SK got wins in contested matches from Luke House at 126lbs by fall, Zach Boender at 138lbs by fall, Alec Shuster at 160lbs by 8-6 decision, Noah Reeves at 170lbs by fall and Kaleb Reeves at 195lbs by fall.

In their win over Mid-Prairie the Cobras got wins in contested matches from Mason Dye at 106lbs by fall, Cale James at 113lbs by fall, Dayne Fisher at 126lbs by 9-2 decision, Zach Boender at 138lbs by fall, Noah Reeves at 170lbs by fall, Kaleb Reeves at 195lbs by fall, Cooper Greiner at 220lbs by fall and Noah Boender at heavyweight by fall. With the sweep, Sigourney-Keota now has an overall dual record of 23-5. The Cobras will next be in action Saturday at North Mahaska for the South Iowa Cedar League tournament.
