The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls basketball teams make the road trip to Durant today to take on the Wildcats in River Valley Conference action.

The Golden Hawk girls enter play with an overall record of 12-5. The Golden Hawks lost to Camanche at home Friday night 48-46 in overtime. Addie Rath had a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, Ali Butters had 15 points. On the season Rath leads the Golden Hawks scoring 13 points per game. She leads the team, the River Valley Conference and is fifth in class 3A with 79 assists. Ireland Hostetler has the team lead and is fourth in the RVC with 144 rebounds.

Durant comes into today with a 4-15 overall record. In their last game they lost to Monticello 58-50. On the season the Wildcats are led by Aubrey Werthmann, scoring 15 points per game, fifth best in the River Valley Conference. Werthmann also leads the Wildcats with 35 assists. Autumn Wolf is best on the team and 10th in the conference with 121 rebounds.

These two teams met on December 17th with Mid-Prairie taking a 45-32 win.

The Mid-Prairie boys come into today with an overall record of 5-13. The Hawks fell to Camanche Friday night 76-58. On the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Caleb Statler, scoring nine points per game. Brad Tornow has the team lead and is fifth in the River Valley Conference with 45 assists. Tom Butters is best on the team and seventh in the conference with 91 rebounds.

Durant comes into today with an overall record of 7-9. They beat Monticello Friday 40-38. On the season the Wildcats are led by Luke Whitlock scoring 14 points per game, sixth best in the RVC. Whitlock is also sixth in the conference with 102 rebounds. Jake Conley has the team lead with 32 assists. These two teams met on December 17th with Durant taking a 53-48 win.
