The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory Sunday into Monday morning (9 a.m.) for ice accumulations in Washington County. Area roadways were covered with sheets of ice, causing travel difficulties. Approximately 0.2 inches of precipitation was recorded Sunday, with another 0.2 inches of precipitation from midnight to 6 a.m. Monday. Due to the conditions, area schools had delays or cancellations, a full list of those can be found here.
