The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls basketball teams welcome the WACO Warriors to Hillcrest Union Friday for a Southeast Iowa Superconference doubleheader.

The IMS girls enter tonight’s game with an overall record of 0-14, they fell on Tuesday to Winfield-Mt. Union 47-33. Suzanna Yoder led the way with 21 points. On the season Yoder is the team leader at 19 points per game, fourth best in the Superconference. Her 45 assists are also best on the team and eighth in the SEISC. Mia Graber leads IMS with 78 rebounds.

The WACO girls come into tonight with an overall record of 3-12. In their last game they fell to Van Buren 38-37. Kiana Miller leads the Warriors this season scoring 10 points per game. Halle Kissell has the team lead with 26 assists. Kissell also leads the Warriors with 92 rebounds.

These two teams met twice last year with the Warriors taking both matchups.

In the boys game Iowa Mennonite enters the evening with an overall record of 11-5 after a 58-28 win over Winfield-Mt. Union on Tuesday. Cole Ours led the way for IMS with 16 points. On the season, Nick Yutzy leads IMS scoring 11 points per game. He also has the team lead and is third in the Superconference with 80 assists. Mitchell Schmeider has pulled in 70 boards to lead IMS.

The WACO boys enter tonight’s game with an overall record of 1-14. Tuesday they dropped a contest with Van Buren 65-50, Cornell Hulme led the way with 14 points. On the season the Warriors are led by Jacob Fried, scoring six points per game. Colton Horak leads the team and is fourth in the Superconference South with 51 assists. Beau Beckler leads the Warriors on the glass with 74 rebounds.

These two teams met twice a year ago with IMS taking both matchups.
