The Keota City Council will convene one last time in January to go over their plans for this year’s pool season. They will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Keota City Hall, and they will discuss the 2017 pool season operation. They will also go over the pool budget for this year and next year. Additionally, they will have a discussion regarding changing the lights at the public library to LED. The Keota pool meeting is open to the public. Last year, the city considered closing the pool due to a potential lack of lifeguards and a pool manager.
