Improving communication and stress management are just two of the topics that will be discussed at a new four-week program at the Washington Public Library. The library and Prelude Behavioral Services are teaming up for a Personal Empowerment and Transformation Group. Director of the library, Debbie Stanton shares each of the weeks will focus on a different topic. The four informal sessions will discuss improving communication, parenting with appropriate discipline, stress management and how to have tough conversations about risky behaviors.The Personal Empowerment and Transformation Group is informal and will be led by discussion from those in attendance. It will meet four Mondays in a row from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the library beginning January 23rd. Free food and childcare will be provided. Contact the library to register.
