Looking for a new date for Valentine’s Day? The Washington Public Library suggests you try reading a surprise book. They’re once again hosting “blind date with a book” where patrons can go in, select a book that is wrapped up from the display, take it home and read it, then fill out the “rate my date” card that’s inside the cover. Each card that is filled out will be put in a basket for a prize. She shares it can be hard to pick the collection of books for the month-long series, but the staff at the library and Pinterest help. This year it is open to adults and teens. Stop by the library to get your blind date and see how many you can finish in the month of February.
