The City of Washington is trying to sell its former library building. The nearly 10,000 square foot building has been on the market for $571,000 since May, but hasn’t changed hands yet. Tonight the Washington City Council will revisit the item and consider lowering the listing price to $245,000. They’ll also discuss the time frame for the sale of the building. The council’s agenda also includes change orders to the elevated water storage tank project and the courthouse sewer separation project. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
