Two illegal tattoo operators were recently sent cease and desist enforcement letters from Washington County Environmental Health. Director Jennine Wolf Health explained what happened during Thursday’s Board of Health meeting, that one came from a complaint that was filed with the state. The second came from a person who explained a sister-in-law had her eyebrows tattooed. In addition to the cease and desist letters, Wolf sent letters about how a tattoo license can be obtained. Washington County does not have any licensed tattoo parlors at this time. Names of those involved were not released.
