Funeral services for 93-year-old John Milton Hixson of Columbus Junction will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, (3/4) at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Burial with military honors will follow at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Friday (3/3) at the Beatty Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5-7:00PM. Memorials may be designated toward the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Iowa City or Hospice Compassus in the name of John Hixson.
