The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk and Columbus Winfield-Mt. Union wrestling teams travel to Williamsburg today to open the postseason in the sectional tournament.

Joining them in Williamsburg are: Benton Community, Clear Creek Amana, No. 2 Solon, and the home standing Raiders.

Mid-Prairie comes into the day with two ranked wrestlers in their lineup. According to thepredicament.com, Duncan McCain is No. 9 in class 2A at 132lbs with a perfect 38-0 record. Visouth Peterschmidt is ranked No. 3 in class 2A at 182lbs with an overall record of 37-3.

Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union enters the day with two ranked wrestlers in their lineup. Jared Kadel is ranked No. 8 at 106lbs. Tucker Morrison is ranked No. 3 at 170lbs.

Benton Community has one ranked wrestler in their lineup. Blade Dubala is ranked No. 6 at 220lbs.

Solon has six ranked wrestlers in their lineup. Highland transfers Bryce and Drew West are both ranked No. 1 at 120 and 126lbs respectively. Ben Carr is ranked No. 9 at 138lbs. Graeson Dall is ranked fifth at 152lbs, Trevor Nelson is fourth at 160lbs and Tyler Linderbaum is No. 4 at heavyweight.

Williamsburg enters today’s action with two ranked wrestlers in their lineup. Grayson Kesterson is ranked No. 1 at 106lbs and Josh Holub is No. 6 at 195lbs.

Clear Creek Amana does not have any ranked wrestlers in today’s tournament.
