The No. 12 ranked Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team handled West Liberty on the road on their Senior Night Tuesday 69-30.

The Golden Hawks controlled the game from start to finish, beginning the contest on a 19-5 run that lasted the entire first quarter. Mid-Prairie led 36-18 at the half. The Golden Hawks outscored West Liberty 33-12 in the second half, including a 16-0 run to end the game, to runaway with the win. The Mid-Prairie defense forced 32 turnovers in the contest. Delaney Smith led the Golden Hawks with 14 points, including four made three point goals. Addie Rath had 12 for Mid-Prairie.  The Golden Hawks are now 14-5 on the year.
