A man won nearly $25,000 this week from winning lottery tickets he bought in Washington. The Iowa Lottery announced, 57-year-old James Temple of South Point, Ohio, who was working on a railroad project in southeast Iowa, won five prizes totaling $24,500. He was playing Iowa Lottery’s Pick 4 game; he matched all four numbers drawn in the exact order 0-8-0-2. One of the winning tickets was purchased at Wine and Spirits and the other was from Casey’s at 1002 West Madison Street.
Temple says he travels across the country for his job and plays the same set of numbers wherever he goes. The numbers are connected to a birthday of one of his family members.
