Sixty adoptions in 60 days is PAWS and More’s goal beginning this week. The local animal shelter is hoping to help cats find loving homes for Valentine’s Day. Amber Talbot, director of the shelter, shares they have had an increase of about 100 cat intakes at the shelter in 2016. Many of those cats, some senior and some not even a year old are waiting to be adopted. Talbot adds feline adoptions are reduced at this time to $50, with some senior cats at lower rates. There are also bonded pairs, so if you’re wanting to add eight paws to your family there are chances to do that, too. There are long haired and short haired cats of all colors waiting for homes.

The shelter is open this weekend. Click here to see photos of the felines looking for forever homes.
