Washington experienced record high temperatures over the weekend. Friday the mercury rose to 73 degrees, breaking the record high of 67 degrees set on February 17th, 2011. Saturday broke the record of 65 degrees in 1913 by one degree. Sunday also had a record high. February 19th’s record had been set at 70 degrees in 1930, but Washington thermometers read 73 degrees this weekend.

There’s a chance of rain this week with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s through Wednesday, but tapering off to the 50s later this week. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
