Aaron Thomas, a coach and teacher, and the son of the late Ed Thomas of Parkersburg, will be the keynote speaker at this month’s annual dinner hosted by the Washington Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Washington and Washington Economic Development Group. Ed Thomas was a football coach and community leader who was fatally shot by a former player. The Thomas family responded with forgiveness and understanding, following the loss. Heather Fedler says, “His story is very, very inspiring.”

She adds the event is an opportunity to see different aspects of Washington and network. Registration is $40 before March 14th, and then goes up to $50 per person. Registration can be submitted online at the Chamber of Commerce’s website. The social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort March 27th.
