No bids were received on two city lots for sale in Washington but the public hearings were officially held at the recent Washington City Council meeting. The City demolished dilapidated houses and now the lots are ready for redevelopment. Mayor Sandra Johnson said each is a residential lot. City Administrator Brent Hinson said he sent the bid package to 24 builders who have built houses in the last decade in Washington, and they’ve had one interested party so far. The lots are at 420 West 6th Street and 415 West Madison Street.
