Another Washington senior has chosen to continue his football career after high school. Washington head football coach Garrison Carter informed KCII Sports that John Dillon will join the Central College Dutch football team this fall as a defensive player.

Dillon concluded his high school career as a member of the second team all-district squad as a linebacker. He was the team leader with three interceptions, tied for the fourth most in the district. He was fourth on the team with 27.5 total tackles, including six tackles for loss and a sack. He also recovered one fumble.

Central College is a Division III institution in Pella. The Dutch ended the season with a record of 8-2 overall and 6-2 in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
