The Highland School Board will welcome parents and citizens at their meeting Monday, as they hold a public hearing to approve the 2017-18 school calendar. The public is encouraged to attend and give input to the board on what the calendar will look like for the next school year. The board will also receive a budget estimate from Business Manager Sue Rich, though they won’t have the final numbers until April. Other items on the agenda include discussion and possible action on a resolution approving a transfer of funds, a presentation on sales tax revenue bond refinancing options, and an update from the superintendent search committee. The meeting will be held Monday at 6 p.m. in the Highland board room.
