A hands-on science event with experiments will be held during the Washington School District’s spring break at the Washington Public Library. Debbie Stanton, director of the library, explains March is normally their quiet month as they prepare for summer reading. However, this year librarian Jenisa Harris wanted to do something big for spring. The library is bringing in Absolute Science, which Stanton describes as a science magic show with experiments and explosions. Absolute Science is for all ages and registration is not required. It will be held March 21st at 10 a.m. The Washington School District will not have classes due to spring break March 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
