In their first season in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South the WACO Warriors girls basketball team (7-16) garnered multiple postseason accolades. The coaches of the league released this year’s all-conference selections, and four Warriors were named to the squad.

Hallie Kissell was voted to the second team All-SEISC South squad. Kissell was the Warriors’ second-leading scorer with 190 points. She was the team leader with 158 rebounds, 46 assists, and 46 steals. Kianna Miller was also named a second-team all-conference performer. Miller poured in a team-best 226 points and topped the squad with 32 made three point baskets.

Kristen Conelly and Clara Schmitz are WACO’s honorable mention selections.

WACO closed the season with a 7-16 overall record. The Warriors lose Kissell and Kasey Sutton to graduation.
