Another improved season under third-year head coach Jonathan Harshman led to multiple all-conference selections for the Lone Tree Lady Lions basketball team (18-6). The coaches of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North released this year’s all-conference squad, and Lone Tree has four players on the team.

Madison Forbes is Lone Tree’s first-team all-conference performer. Forbes closed her high school basketball career third in the conference in scoring with 422 points During Lone Tree’s 35-32 win versus the Wapello Arrows (12-10) on January 27, she became the seventh player in program history to register over 1,000 points scored. Forbes finished her career with 1,093 total points.

Elena Sieverding represents Lone Tree on the second-team all-conference crew. She led the Lady Lions with 137 rebounds, 68 assists, 72 steals, and 26 blocks. She ranked second on the team and 10th in the conference with 241 points scored.

Riley Warson and Liz Dodson are Lone Tree’s honorable mention selections.

The Lady Lions concluded the year with an 18-6 overall record, a three-win improvement from last year. They lose Dodson, Forbes, Maryssa Grover, Kaycee Kane, and Sieverding to graduation.
