One lucky KCII listener is $1,000 richer after playing Radio Active Bingo. Program Director Tyler Gumm broke the good news to Carol Miller of Kalona Friday, she said, “Are you kidding? How about that? What a way to start my morning!” The contest ran from January 30th to March 11th. Listeners could play bingo with each square on the card represented by a local business. Miller’s winning card included two Hy-Vee squares, Mercy Family Medicine of Kalona, Halcyon House and VTI – vertical till injector. Ten qualifiers were drawn from the Bingo cards submitted each week and Miller’s card was randomly drawn out as the grand prize winner.
