A winter weather advisory was put into effect for the KCII listening area for 24 hours, beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday evening. As of 6 a.m. Monday, Washington had received approximately 2.5 inches of snow. During the Monday morning commute, area highways were partially covered with snow.
