Despite spending much of the year undersized, the Iowa Mennonite School boys basketball team was a leader in Class 1A in a very unlikely statistic, blocked shots.

The IMS boys finished the season with 113 blocked shots, fourth most in all of Iowa. The tallest player on the IMS roster is 6’4″ Mitchell Schmeider who accounted for 57 of those blocks, seventh most in Class 1A. Iowa Mennonite ended the season with a 17-7 overall record.
