The leading scorer on this year’s Winfield-Mount Union Wolves girls’ basketball team received high praise from conference coaches. The Southeast Iowa Super Conference North released this year’s all-conference teams and junior Lexee Hartsock has a spot on the first-team squad.

Hartsock posted a team-best 225 points scored, the 12th highest total in the league. She led the Wolves with 83 field goals made, 59 free throws converted, and 31 blocked shots. Hartsock finished second on the team with 120 rebounds.

Hannah Mathews and Pearl Krieger-Coble represent the Wolves as honorable mention selections.

Winfield-Mount Union ended the season with a record of 7-16, a three-win improvement from last year. The Wolves lose Hannah Buffington, Sophie Kongable, Mathews, and Kara Wade to graduation.
