The need for more office and storage space for multiple Washington County departments is being addressed by the Washington County Board of Supervisors. The supervisors have considered multiple options and have visited area properties. They’ve also held closed sessions for discussions regarding property. An inspection report on a property the county does not own that the supervisors have been considering recently was returned to the board. During their weekly meeting this Tuesday Vice Chairman Abe Miller said the inspector found mold in the building. He added, “I would ask all the supervisors to read the full inspection report, then we’ll have a discussion on an agenda at a later date, possibly next week. And see what our next step would be.” The address of the building was not disclosed. The supervisors will next meet Tuesday morning and the agenda will be posted by Monday.
