The annual Southeast Iowa Bandmasters Association, or SEIBA, Jazz Festival is being held this weekend. The Washington High School select jazz band is traveling to Iowa City West High School Saturday to take part. The band is under the direction of Don Hughes. Speaking of the group, he said he feels the group is strong across all of the sections this year. The Washington Jazz Band includes six saxophones, five trombones, four trumpets, auxiliary percussion, a guitar, bass guitar and a piano.
