Iowa Mennonite School senior basketball standout Nick Yutzy was named to the Academic All-State team in Class 1A by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.

Yutzy led IMS in scoring on the season at 11 points per game. His 107 assists this season were fourth most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division. His 71 steals were third most in the division. Yutzy ended his career at IMS with a 21 point performance, including five three point goals in a district championship loss to Lisbon 64-59.

Yutzy will be honored in a ceremony at halftime of the boys class 2A basketball state championship game on Friday.
