Cattle were shown at the Washington County Fairgrounds by 113 youth from Iowa, 27 exhibitors were from Washington County. The Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association sanctioned the show April 15th. Avery Shalla of Riverside showed a crossbred steer that took Supreme Champion in the market beef division. Shalla earned champion crossbred steer and then went on to win the overall Grand Champion Market Animal.

In the breeding division, Logan Harmsen of Wellman earned champion Horned Hereford. Iris Peterson of Washington earned champion Saler. Conner Shalla of Kalona earned champion Foundation Simmental. Braydon Younge earned reserve champion commercial heifer.

The show is planned by the Washington County 4-H County Council with the help of the 4-H Youth Committee. Proceeds will go to 4-H and fairground improvement projects.
