Work on a bridge will close a portion of 190th Street, or G26, in Washington County starting Wednesday. The Washington County Engineer’s Office, announced the road closure will be on 190th Street, about a mile east of Ginkgo Aveue. The detour will have traffic use Ginkgo Avenue, 170th Street and Highway 1. G26 will be closed for the duration of the project, which is tentatively scheduled to be finished by the end of the summer. The bridge deck overlay project will repair and resurface the deck and install a guardrail. The work is being done by Cramer and Associates, Inc. of Grimes. Residents are advised to use caution while traveling on the detour.
