The Washington boys’ golf team looks to keep the good vibes rolling as they head to Oskaloosa tonight.

The Demons seek their fourth straight meet win that included a Washington Invite title on Saturday. After losing to Mt. Pleasant by two strokes a couple weeks ago, Washington bounced back against the Panthers and have seized control of the Southeast Conference. In the 18-hole Washington Invite that included four teams, the Demons took home the win with a team total of 310 strokes, rolling over the Panthers who were second with 328 strokes. After a banner week for Jacob Van Osdol that included two medalists wins, the junior posted an encore performance on Saturday by shooting a team-best score of 74. Dalton Myers continued his consistent season by posting a 76 with a pair of birdies. Rounding out the top six for the Demons were Tanner Coleman and Mason Rich with 80, Brock Sobaski with 81, and Noah Enfield shooting an 87.

Oskaloosa has held their own this season having recorded a team average of 166 per nine holes in four meets. The Indians are led by Spencer Tucker who has a season average of 36.5 strokes, good enough for third in the state for class 3A.

The Demons tee off at 2 p.m. today at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.
