The Washington boys’ soccer team is set to face off against Fairfield at Fairfield High School tonight.

After an idle week the Demons look to build on their big victory last week against No. 3 in 1A, Columbus Community. Washington (2-1) has experienced much of their early season success thanks to their defense, starting with junior goalie Thomas Zimmer. Zimmer is currently ranked seventh in the state in saves with 31. He has only allowed five goals through three games with a save percentage of 86. Sophomore Caleb Suchan has paced the Demons offensively with three goals including six shots on goal. Fairfield (1-1) is coming off of a win Monday night against Mt. Pleasant. Chaysten Titus leads Fairfield offensively with three goals on the young season including eight shots on goal.

The game gets started at 5:30 p.m. tonight at Fairfield High School.
