The Washington Demon boys soccer team is back on the pitch tonight when they battle the Fort Madison Bloodhounds on the road.

Washington enters play with a 2-3 record on the year. They fell on Monday to Iowa Mennonite 6-2 in Kalona. Abdullah Talal and John Dillon supplied the offense in the game for the Demons, each scoring once. Caleb Suchan leads the Washington attack with four goals on the season. Defensively, Thomas Zimmer is ninth in the state in class 2A with 54 saves.

Fort Madison is 3-3 on the year. In their last action they topped Central Lee 2-1 on the road Tuesday. Chase Rogers and Austin Sexton each had one goal apiece for the Bloodhounds. On the year the Hounds are led by Rogers and his six goals. Carson Donaldson holds the team lead with 24 saves in goal.

These two teams met twice a year ago with Fort Madison sweeping the series by 7-2 and 6-1 scores. The Demons are looking for their first conference win since 2014. Action begins tonight at 5:30 in Fort Madison.
