The Washington Demon boys’ golf team recorded their best score of the season Thursday at Mt. Pleasant.

Washington came in second at the three-team meet with a score of 153, just behind Mt. Pleasant who posted a total of 151 points. Brock Sobaski and Noah Enfield shot a team low and season best scores of 37, good for a second place tie at the meet. Next in line for the Demons was Dalton Myers who managed a 38, Jacob Van Osdol and Mason Rich had a 41, and rounding out the top six for the Demons was Tanner Coleman with a 42. When commenting on the depth of his squad, Head Coach Mark Berhow notes, “We have six guys who can score low and that is a great advantage for us.” The Demons have already seen a 15-stroke improvement from their first meet of the season, bettering their previous score each time out.

The Demons are next in action on Tuesday in Fort Madison starting at 4 p.m.
