The Mid-Prairie boys and girls golf teams are back on the links tonight to match up with the Tipton Tigers.

The Mid-Prairie boys were last on the course Tuesday when they beat Louisa-Muscatine at Cedar Crest Golf Course in Columbus Junction. Duncan McCain earned his third medalist honor of the year shooting a low round 39. The Tipton boys were last in action Friday at Solon. The Tigers are led by Keith Penningroth with a 43 stroke average per nine holes. As a team the Tigers are shooting a 190 average per nine holes for the year. The boys meet will take place at the Tipton Country Club.

The Mid-Prairie girls come into tonight with their last action April 3rd at the Iowa City Elks Club where they beat West Branch 214-220. Medalist for the Golden Hawks was Paige Slabaugh with a 50. The Tipton girls were last in action at home Monday. This year the Tigers are led by Kailee Meyer and her 47 average per nine holes. As a team, Tipton is shooting a 200 average for the season. The girls meet will take place at the Kalona Golf Course.
