A trio of area boys golf teams traveled to Wahkonsa Golf and Country Club Tuesday for the Durant Wildcat Invitational.
The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves posted the top team finish, taking fourth out of 11 teams with a 363. Durant won it’s home tournament shooting 341. Kaleb Hagge was the individual meet champion with a low round 73. Other scores for the Wolves included Kash Rossiter at 92, Nolan Ross with a 94, Jarod Kadel at 104, Graham Hagge with a 107 and Noah Freeman at 114.
The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were sixth with a 368 in the 18 hole event. Duncan McCain led the way for the Golden Hawks with an 87. Other scores for Mid-Prairie included Collin Gingerich with a 91, Noah Schlabaugh at 92, Ryan Slaubaugh and Michael Callahan with 98s and Ryan Smit with a 103.
The Columbus Wildcats were 11th with a team score of 455. Ryan Orr led the Wildcats with a 103. Other finishers included Evan Rees at 115, Caleb McCullough at 118, Erik Rees with a 119 and Raul Chavez at 172.
