Lone Tree High School will serve as host to a track meet with several area schools in attendance Monday.

Along with the Lions, Iowa Mennonite School, WACO, and Keota will be in action. Lone Tree last competed Thursday at the Falcon Relays in West Burlington. The Lion boys were fourth as a team and had five champions on the night including Niko Gosnell winning the 110 hurdles and the high jump, Brock Smith taking the 400 hurdles, Jovonte Squires winning the long jump and Squiers, Gosnell, Smith and Jeff Hudson winning the shuttle hurdle relay.

The Lone Tree girls also ran Thursday at West Burlington. The Lady Lions were fifth in the field as a team and had two championships on the night as Emily Feldman won the 100 and the team of Feldman, Marissa Swails, Zoie Simonsen and Lucy Bloomer won the shuttle hurdle relay.

Iowa Mennonite last ran Tuesday at Williamsburg. The IMS girls had two scoring events on the night with Calli Shaw fourth in the 400 and Emma Beachy sixth in the discuss.

The WACO boys and girls were last on the track Thursday at the Demon Relays at Case Field in Washington. The Warrior boys were fifth in the team standings. Top finishes included a pair of runners-up with Colton Horak in the 400 hurdles and Calvin Battle, Ellijay McGohan, Horak and Cornell Hulme in the 4×200. The WACO girls best finish on the night was a third place from the shuttle hurdle relay team of Kasey Sutton, Clara Schmitz, Kiana Miller and Laney Graber.

The Keota boys and girls track teams ran last at Pekin on Thursday

Action begins tonight at 4:30 and continues into the evening at Lone Tree High School.
