Former Mid-Prairie softball standout Alex Rath is continuing her freshman season as a member of the University of Iowa softball team.

Rath has appeared in 21 of the Hawkeyes 36 games including seven starts. She has four total hits on the season with three runs scored and has driven in one. The Hawkeyes are 13-23 on the season and hosting Rutgers this weekend in Iowa City in a three game Big Ten series.
