The Sigourney and Keota boys track teams traveled to Eddyville for the Rocket Relays Tuesday night.

Sigourney had the best area team finish, taking second overall with 122 points. Lynnville-Sully won the meet with 159 points. The Savages had three event championships on the night, all from Avery Moore. Moore won the 100 in 11.41 seconds, the 200 in 22.86 seconds and the 400 in 49.37 seconds. Other top finishes for the Savages included Bryce Goldman second in the 100, Tyler Crawford second in the 800, Moore second in the 400 hurdles, Will Magill second in the high jump, Goldman second in the long jump and Carson Crawford second in the shot put. In relay events Sigourney was second in the 4×100 with a team of Carson Crawford, Goldman, Magill and Moore, second in the 4×800 with a team of Tyler Crawford, Paul Montgomery, Tristen Bell and Dawson Webster, third in the 4×400 with a team of Webster, Montgomery, Zane Hahn and Jacob Steffens and third in the sprint medley with Carson Crawford, Goldman, Kyle Weber and Webster

Keota was fifth out of eight teams with 66 points. The Eagles had three championships on the night. Turner Klein won the 1600 in 5:07.17 and the 3200 in 10:53.13. The Eagles also won the 4×200 with a team of Luke Greiner, Logan Sieren, JD Stout and Jacob Wickencamp with their time of 1:36.32. Other top finishes for Keota included Cole Brenneman second in the discus and Anthony Campbell third in the shot put.
