Measures to continue increasing courthouse security are going into effect, as this summer the third floor of the building will be remodeled. At Tuesday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting, Auditor Dan Widmer said the work is anticipated to be done this summer. Supervisor Chairman Richard Young said the work would remodel the current library into two conference rooms. Washington County Attorney John Gish added it will give a location for private counsel between attorneys and their clients. The estimated cost is about $2,900 and it was allocated in the budget.
