The Washington Demon girls soccer team dropped their Southeast Conference opener Thursday night on the road to the Fairfield Trojans 10-1.

The Trojans scored three times in the games first 17 minutes. The Demons Joanna Segura put Washington on the board with a goal in the 22nd minute to cut the deficit to 3-1 but the Trojans ran away from there, scoring seven unanswered goals. Fairfield was led on the night by Indian Hills soccer commit Emma Rosner and her five goals. Kristin Burnstedt had a hat trick for Fairfield. With the loss, the Demons are now 0-3 on the year.
