The Washington Demons boys’ soccer team travels to Iowa Mennonite School tonight for an area showdown.

Washington (2-2) looks to rebound from their 3-1 loss last week at the hands of Fairfield. The Demons were tied much of the game until the final nine minutes of the contest when Fairfield was able to score the final two goals of the game to seal the win.

Caleb Suchan looks to continue his offensive success for the Demons having recorded four goals in as many games and a shot on goal percentage of 57. Goalie Thomas Zimmer who averages 10.75 saves per game will look to tame the high scoring squad of IMS who have posted 14 goals in three games. IMS (2-1) looks to keep the good times rolling, fresh off their 10-0 win against Highland on Thursday. Iowa Mennonite is led offensively by junior Cole Ours, who has collected four goals and four assists, and Seth Danga, who has four goals as well.

Action gets started at 5 p.m. tonight at Iowa Mennonite School.
