The Washington Demons boys golf team is set to tee off for their first meet of the season tonight hosting Mt. Pleasant at the Washington Golf and Country Club.

The Demons bring back an experienced team for the new season as they return five of their top six golfers from a year ago. The 2016 squad just missed out on the State Tournament a year ago and look to build off a district qualifying season. Seniors Tanner Coleman, Noah Enfield, and Mason Rich lead the charge as they look to build off a team average of 40 strokes per nine holes in 2016. Junior Dalton Myers is the top returner, a year ago he was a district qualifier averaging 41.4 strokes per nine holes. Also returning is junior Jacob Van Osdol and sophomore Ben Bohl.

Action gets started at 4 p.m. tonight at the Washington Golf and Country Club.
