The City’s water plant, an easement at the former library building, and an interfund transfer are on the agenda for the next Washington City Council meeting. The council will discuss and consider a Community Development Block Grant contract for the water plant, as well as a contract with Simmering Cory for the plant. The easement is in regards to an air conditioner at 120 East Main Street. The interfund transfer is in regards to the library trust and gift fund, which was mislabeled and is being fixed to align with current balances. The transfer comes as a recommendation from the state auditors. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers.
