A total of $2,834,729 has been requested across 79 applications for the spring grant cycle with the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. The largest request was $850,000 from the City of Riverside for a Highway 22 streetscape project. The lowest amount requested was $675 from Sigourney Community Schools for an elementary AED. The winners will be announced at the May 17th meeting at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. Twenty-two grants for $798,595 were awarded at last spring’s grant presentation.
