The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves girls golf team gets their season underway Tuesday with a trip to Flint Hills Golf Course in Burlington.

The Wolves will match up with New London, Burlington and West Burlington Notre Dame. A season ago Winfield-Mt. Union advanced to the regional finals at North English before falling short of a bid to the state tournament, finishing in fourth place.

The Wolves return five of their top six scorers from a season ago including their team leader in average, senior Sophie Kongable who was at 50 per nine holes in 2016. Also returning are Lexee Hartsock, Lauren Jamison, Sabrina Moody and Haley Rodgers.

Action continues all day at Flint Hills Golf Course in Burlington.
